Norfolk Island is a premier destination for food lovers. Our produce is organically grown and harvested seasonally for a freshness and taste that provides 360° of flavour and keeps visitors returning year after year.

Day 1 - Wine tasting & road-side stalls

Morning - Pick up an honesty box map from the Visitor Information Centre in Burnt Pine then go hunting and gathering from our road-side stalls for fresh fruit, veggies and preserves. Just remember to bring change and smaller notes for the honesty boxes.

Afternoon - Spend an hour or two at Two Chimneys Wines for fabulous wine tasting and cellar-door sales. 

Evening - Dine at the Homestead Restaurant for seasonal local produce, meat and seafood cooked on the wood-fuelled Argentinian-style grill.

Day 2 - Paddock-to-plate

Morning - Sleep in and then visit one of the local Cafe's for a delicious brunch and great coffee. Their extensive menus will satisfy all appetites and tastes.

Afternoon - Sample local food on a Baunti Escape Taste of Norfolk Island guided tour.

Evening - Experience paddock-to-plate dining at its freshest and finest at the Bounty Bar & Grill, located in Burnt Pine.

Day 3 - Markets & Local beer

Morning - Visit the weekend markets where you can buy seasonal produce, or check out the supermarkets and butchers who also receive daily deliveries. 

Afternoon - Call in for a locally brewed beer at Norfolk Brewing at the Castaway Hotel. Order a cheese platter or lunch is available on certain days.

Evening - Book a table at the Hilli Restaurant & Cafe where you can dine indoors, or alfresco in their tropical courtyard.

Stay for 7-days 

There’s so much to eat, drink and savour on Norfolk Island, so why not stay longer? 

Feast on local fish and salads at our famous clifftop Island Fish Fry at sunset. Dine in local homes on one of our  legendary Progressive Dinners. Call into Prinke Eco store for healthy snacks, or Cafe Tempo always has a traditional dessert pie in their food cabinet!
