Experience a guided hike through Norfolk Island’s National Park with a local who walks the talk – sharing stories, language and cultural insights along the way.
This is a challenging three-hour walk, beginning at Howie’s Hikes HQ on Selwyn Pine Road. The route takes in Palm Glen, climbs to Mt Bates and Mt Pitt, then loops back via Palm Glen. Along the way, you’ll learn about “the Norf’k Waey” – our unique customs, language, and connection to the land.
Expect native flora, birdlife, and sweeping views across the island. The hike finishes with a relaxed cuppa and a taste of seasonal island produce back at base.
