Feel the spirit of community, endurance and breathtaking scenery in one extraordinary island race.
Hosted by Athletics Norfolk Island, the Around the Island Relay is a 25km course that winds through the island’s lush valleys, coastal lookouts and storied heritage sites. Open to locals and visitors alike, this annual one-day event invites runners and walkers to take on the challenge solo or as part of a team.
Starting and finishing at Gallows Gate in Kingston, the route includes six scenic legs with changeovers at Middlegate, Red Road, Captain Cook, Puppies Point and Homestead. Teams can be made up of two, three or six runners/walkers, completing one, two or three consecutive legs. Water stations will be available at each transition point.
