French explorer La Perouse arrived off Norfolk Island in 1788 and described it as 'fit only for angels and eagles' - so rugged was the coastline. Our home is a place of dramatic coastal vistas and secret bay.  PLEASE NOTE: There are no longer guided kayak tours around the Island. Plse contact the Visitor Information Centre for information on hiring a kayak to paddle within the beaches.
