Where to Eat in Norfolk Island

Anson Bay Coffee
Norfolk Island has its own coffee plantation. There is a weekly tour of the plantation and roasting house, also look out for the mobile coffee van.

Soft Drinks
Soft drinks, mixes and liqueurs are also made on the island – be sure to try the convict curse or pitcairn passion!

Beer
Call into the brewery and sample the award winning beer, such as the beesting a good ale that is brewed with local honey.

Chocolate
Sample these delicious treats made with local fruit or liqueur filling.

Guava Jelly
Guava jelly made from the cherry guava fruit this jam is delicious on scones or even pan fried fish!

Traditional Recipes
Traditional dishes are influenced by the local mix of British and Tahitian cultures. This includes Pilhai (baked kumera, banana or pumpkin) marinated fish in lemon juice and coconut cream and sweet dessert pies.

Weekend Markets
There is a farmer market every Saturday morning with local growers selling seasonal fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs. There is also the Sunday morning markets where you can find home made cooking and locally made arts and crafts. Both markets are held in the Bicentennial complex area near the Visitor's Information Centre (Also, as you drive around the island look out for road side produce stalls with honesty boxes)
