Diving

With over 30 world class diving sites, Norfolk Island offers many fascinating diving opportunities.

Explore caves, tunnels, chasms and chimneys, and a wide variety of fish and marine algae. Visibility is normally around 20 meters or better, with a minimum water temperature of 18 degrees in winter. Norfolk Island has a fully qualified PADI Dive Instructor who offers PADI training from Introductory Dive Courses right up to Dive Master. Equipment and tuition material is provided.

Emily Bay, Norfolk Island

Picturesque Emily Bay must be one of the safest swimming beaches in the world and is great for families. Snorkeling is particularly popular with holidaymakers, as the clear blue protected waters of Emily Bay provide access to a colourful coral reef and sea life. (Snorkelling gear, canoes and paddleboards can be hired on the Island.)
